Christmas Gifts for Gun Lovers
Christmas is right around the corner. Last-minute shopping, a hallmark of family life, is still going strong. If you have a second amendment-loving relative who you’ve been struggling to find that perfect present, you’re in luck. Read on to see our list of Christmas gifts for gun lovers.
Clothing and ‘Merch’
Got a cousin who loves to hunt with his Browning? How about a sister who is a die hard supporter of Remington? Consider finding a high-quality hat, sweatshirt, or even coffee thermos with the persons favorite company logo or branding. All of the major companies have a line of branded merchandise, and most smaller companies do now, as well. If your dad gets all of his equipment from the local gun store down the street, it’s highly likely you can get a t-shirt from the store.
Tactical Flashlight
There are a large amount of tactical flashlights, and with good reason. A modern flashlight has the capability of blinding a would be attacker while still fitting in the palm of your hand. In the more likely scenario, having a small flashlight on your person can help you find things you drop, light your way down a dark alley, or scare away the squirrels when you go out back for your smoke break. You can get a quality, rechargeable flashlight for under fifty dollars, and the person receiving the gift will likely find use from it.
A Folding Knife
For most firearms enthusiasts, knives are a secondary love. If you are the kind of person who loves guns and gear, then having a good folding knife goes without question. Like the flashlights mentioned above, you can get a quality folding knife for under fifty dollars. It’s possible, of course, to spend hundreds of dollars on a folding knife. But this is unnecessary. You can find a variety of purpose-built folding knives, from combat focused blades to more utility-minded tools. Quality folding knives make great gifts for gun lovers in your life!
Training
It may not be as fun, but training is invaluable to protecting yourself with a firearm(or in any way). Most ranges and training businesses have gift certificates. Purchase a gift certificate as a gift and let the gun lover in your live book their own training. If there are no gift certificates available, consider booking the training course itself as a gift for your gun love. Now, this may be a little trickier, depending on the course and it’s location. You may need to let the person know ahead of time so that they can work out the scheduling for the course. This might ruin the surprise, but it’s unlikely to bother the recipient too terribly. Training(or even a gift certificate for range time) is a fantastic gift.
Assorted Extras
If none of these options work for you, consider any other miscellaneous gun gear. Ammo, magazines, magazine pouches, lights, sights, or any other assortment of gear can be purchased as gifts for gun lovers. Now get out there and make their holidays merry!
