Defensive Pistol 2 Class
Skill Level: Moderate to Experienced
Cost: $85
Class info:
- Training will be two hours.
- This is a required course for our new Draw from the Holster Advanced Class.
Goal:
- The class is designed to provide defensive skills and build muscle memory.
Equipment Needed:
- Firearm (available for rent if needed)
- 100 rounds of ammunition (No steel or aluminum case ammo allowed)
- Ear and eye protection
- 2 magazines for the firearm
Class Scenarios:
- Weak/ Strong Hand Shooting - 12 Rounds
- Point Shooting - 12 Rounds
- Hip Shooting -12 Rounds
- Stationary Targets:
- 3 Targets ( 1,2,3, ) - 12 Rounds
- 3 Targets ( 1,2,3, ) Low Light - 12 Rounds
- 3 Targets (1,2,3, )Â Low Light / Flashlight -Â 12 Rounds
- Walking Targets - 12 Rounds
- Triple Tap 12 Rounds
- Advancing Target:

Advanced Defensive AR
Skill Level: Moderate to Experienced
Cost: $95
Class Info:
- Training will be two hours.
Goal:
- The Defensive AR course is designed to help students practice using a AR-15 style rifle or similar carbine in simulated defensive scenarios.
- Students will engage multiple targets, engage targets while moving, and perform multiple reloads.
- Students will also learn immediate action to clear any malfunctions during the course. The first couple of the drills for the course are at the firing line.
- After this, the remaining portion of the class is performed beyond the firing line. For safety purposes, the student’s AR-15s will be moved to a table and given to the student before each exercise.
Equipment Needed:
- Eye and ear protection
- Ar-15 or similar style carbine rifle
- Ammunition – 100 rounds (no steel cased or armor piercing ammunition. This includes green tip ammo)
- Sights – iron, red dot, or optic acceptable
- 2 magazines
- Students must have a way to secure their 2nd magazine to their person (a magazine holder is recommended but not required)
- Rifle slings are optional
